The Meaning behind "Salve Maria Fiat"

"Salve Maria" is a Latin phrase meaning "Hail Mary," from the beloved Catholic prayer honoring the Virgin Mary, the Mother of Jesus. It was the angelic greeting spoken by the Archangel Gabriel when he announced to Mary that she would become the Mother of God. The Saints have shared that the salvation of each soul is intertwined with the Hail Mary, and that the salvation of the entire world began with this sacred prayer. 

Mary’s "Fiat" marks a pivotal moment in salvation history. Her "yes" symbolizes total surrender to God’s will, trusting Him even in uncertainty. It exemplifies perfect obedience and faith, showing how humanity cooperates with God in His plan of salvation. When Mary gave her consent, the Word became flesh (John 1:14), linking her Fiat to the mystery of the Incarnation and Redemption.

My name is Dana Rachel, and I have dedicated my life to sharing the profound beauty of the Catholic faith through my platforms, @ThyFlameofLove, on Instagram, TikTok, X, and YouTube. Every video I create is a heartfelt effort to reach souls yearning for Truth in a world often clouded by misunderstanding and spiritual hunger. But I cannot do this alone. My journey began with a deep conversion during my pregnancy, where I realized the urgent need for God in my life. Since then, I’ve been committed to sharing the truth of the Catholic faith, especially in a world filled with misconceptions and anti-Catholic sentiment. What began as a hobby of responding to misinformation quickly became a calling. Now, I’m ready to devote my life fully to this mission, using the gifts God has given me to spread His word.

To fulfill this calling, I am striving to create content that inspires, educates, and uplifts. However, I face limitations in producing the high-quality work this mission deserves. Professional equipment, cameras, editing software, and other necessary means of videography would allow me to create more impactful videos that can touch even more lives. I humbly ask for your support to make this a reality.

But that’s not all. My vision extends beyond digital evangelization. I hope to launch my own line of sacred sacramentals, including rosaries, St. Benedict bracelets, and Miraculous Medals, beautiful tools of prayer, grace, and devotion that reflect the richness of our beautiful Catholic faith. To bring this dream to life, I need to first grow my online store and generate the means to fund these endeavors. By supporting my store, you not only receive elegant Catholic essentials but also play a vital role in this mission of spreading God’s love.

The truth is, this journey hasn’t been without its struggles. As a stay-at-home, single mother and a devout Catholic entrepreneur, I face real financial challenges while pouring my whole heart into this mission. I’m not chasing a luxurious or financially free lifestyle—I’m pursuing a faithful one. I live a simple life and work full-time so I can focus on what matters most: reaching souls, teaching the faith, and creating content that brings people closer to God.
